When left is the way you've gone a thousand times before

you find this grandiose door with a big fat lock
yet going to the right also doesn't seem quite right
In the middle fire and water are steaming up
dense, smothery air
makes paint well out of all pores of your skin
like drops of sweat
melting pictures making their way to the surface
from a infinite source within
in the world of art nothing is ever just a stain
when tears wash over you
wake you up
like a refreshing summer rain
